Meet Your Junior Engineering Instructor
Matthew Israel, P.E. is an electrical engineer and Professional Engineer with 17 years of experience in the electric utility industry. His professional background includes power systems, protection and control, and utility communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida and Texas.
Mr. Israel is passionate about helping young students discover the exciting world of engineering. In Junior Engineering, students will learn through hands-on projects, experiments, building challenges, and problem-solving activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
He is excited to teach our young brothers about engineering and all it has to offer—and to help them discover that they can be builders, problem-solvers, innovators, and engineers.
