Course Description

Welcome to the kitchen! In this introductory Culinary Arts course, fourth-grade students will learn essential kitchen-safety rules, proper hygiene, accurate measuring techniques, healthy food choices, and basic food-preparation skills.

Students will practice following recipes, working responsibly with classmates, and preparing simple foods under adult supervision.

Instructions: Demonstrate the correct handwashing procedure to a teacher or parent.

Students must:

Wet their hands.
Apply soap.
Scrub palms, backs of hands, between fingers, and under nails.
Scrub for at least 20 seconds.
Rinse thoroughly.
Dry with a clean towel.
Submission: Teacher/parent verification, written reflection, or short video
